Non-Degree Seeking Student
Overview
Students who have earned a bachelor's degree and would like to enroll in a Social Work graduate-level elective course or two for personal enrichment may apply for admission through the Graduate College as a non-degree seeking student.
As a non-degree seeking student, you would not be pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. Additionally, the non-degree seeking option is not a back door into the MSW Program. It is important to note that successful completion of any social work graduate elective does not mean the course will apply to a graduate program or the MSW degree.
The courses listed below are potential course options for a non-degree seeking student.
