Email Communication

All communication from the Graduate College and the School of Social Work (SSW) will be sent to the email address you provide on your online application. Therefore, you should provide an email address you can access permanently; and is not tied to your enrollment at a college or university or place of employment.

If the program is not listed as an option on application for a given semester, applicants may no longer apply for the program for that term. In order to apply for admission consideration for future terms, applicants must submit a new application, fee, and updated support documents.

At Texas State, the Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship is available for returned Peace Corps Volunteers(RPCV) applying to the on-campus Social Work Advanced Practice Leadership master's degree program. (Beginning fall 2027, this fellowship is only available to on-campus cohort students.)

The deadline to apply for the Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship is the same as the priority deadline for the Social Work Advanced Practice Leadership application: January 1.  You must complete the online application for graduate studies with the Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship application requirements by January 1 in order to be considered.

Invitations for finalist interviews will be announced prior to first day of the fall semester.

In addition to Tuition & Fee Information, when planning for your education, it is important to know the cost of attending the University. This cost of attendance (or COA), in addition to your financial aid and scholarship offers, will help you estimate your out-of-pocket educational expenses.

If you have additional questions after reviewing the information on the School of Social Work and Graduate College websites, please join us for an MSW Information Meeting.

All MSW Information Meetings are held via Zoom. No registration required.
