Dr. Lindsey Anderson, LCSW

Dr. Lindsey Anderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carthage College, her Master in Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, and her PhD in Social Work from the Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University. 

Her primary areas of research include joy, workplace wellbeing, practicum education, and social work education. Dr. Anderson also has a variety of practice experience, including training and technical assistance in Early Head Start and Head Start programs, job training for youth and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, connecting young adults with involvement in the criminal justice system to education and employment opportunities, assessing individuals with mental health crises  in the Emergency Department, connecting patients to social services while on home healthcare services, and in private practice working with individuals who have concerns with depression, anxiety, and life transitions.   

Dr. Anderson primarily teaches practicum seminar courses and enjoys infusing aspects of career preparation, professional development, and self-care and wellbeing practices into her teaching.
