Request for Social Work Elective Overrides

Master of Social Work (MSW) courses are required for students in the MSW program; therefore, course enrollment priority is given to Social Work majors. Department Approval is required for all SOWK courses.

Non-Social Work majors are only permitted to register for SOWK electives listed in the chart below. All other courses are reserved for MSW majors. Approval to register for electives will be based on available seats after all MSW majors have registered.
